KARLENE MILLWOOD (KarMill) PRODUCTIONS

KarMill Productions was founded in 2011 under the name Jazz D'Vine Entertainment. Our journey kicked off in July 2011 with our premiere live jazz showcase, Love Rhapsody, and played to a full house of over 200 guests at The Gospel Cafe in Mississauga, Ontario.

A few months later we were back by popular demand to host, It's Jazz, simply D'Vine, paying homage to our slogan at the time. We produced several live jazz and poetry events over the next three years until we branched out into live theatre in 2014. To our delight, Forgiven, our flagship theatrical production sold out on opening night with over 300 patrons in attendance. Proceeds from those events funded scholarships for six high school students in Jamaica.

We believe in dreaming big and harnessing our greatness by sharing our gifts and talents with the world. We continued in this vein and pushed the boundaries into film production. So far, we have two short films to our credit and one documentary in post-production at the time of writing. In 2021, we changed our name to Karlene Millwood (KarMill) Productions and mirrored the shift in our new slogan: In the scene from stage to screen. We've taken it to another level.
